The CA Datacom r15 CICS Services User Guide provides two sample programs that demonstrate the RAAT and JDBC interfaces. You can also use these modules for
additional application development efforts.
The DCJDBPR sample JAVA program is attached to demonstrate the JDBC interface.
The Sample program using the JDBC interface is activated from a CICS screen with the transaction code DBJD. This transaction code activates
the program DCJDBPR to run in a JVM under CICS and the retrieved data is displayed on the screen.
You will need to download the attached zip file DBC-R15.zip, extract it to a folder, then use eclipse (a Java IDE) to import as a java project.
For more information about coding the interface in Java or JDBC, see the CA Datacom r15 CICS Services System Reference Guide and Best Practices Guide.
