CA Product task-based documentation with graphics and video is available at docops.ca.com. Information Engineers are assigned to compile release notes, installation instructions, administration notes, network information and more for customized for each product.
When you're looking for documentation for CA (C-A) Technology's products, the place to start is docops.ca.com.
If you're looking for non-GA product documentation, please check support.ca.com.
CA product documentation is mostly public, but for premium content, be sure to log in with your enterprise site ID.
Here on the homepage, you'll see that we have an option for product selection. We can use the drop-down list or we can simply type in our product name. In this case, we're going to look for “CA-Application Delivery Analysis” and select "Version 11.0."
The first thing to notice is in the upper right-hand corner, there is an option for language.
Using your user-profile, the system will allow you to select the language in which you'd like to see the documentation.
Next to that, we have an option for versions. Here you can search for documentation for a specific product version.
And can save that documentation you’re looking at as a pdf format or electronic publication, using the links here.
Navigation on the page is achieved by clicking on the "contents" link, this turns-on and off the left-hand navigation.
You'll notice that the left-hand navigation mirrors and matches the product content on this side of the screen.
The search window enables you to search for content, first by “topic title”, and then by any character-string that happens to match within this particular space.
Also, on any of the search results you can leave comments and feedback here. But to do this, you first need to register with CA.com and be logged-in.
Last thing, many of our products now have documentation links integrated within their user-interface. Clicking those links will bring you right here to the documentation platform at docops.ca.com.
