Dear CA MICS customers,
For version 14.2, and 14.2 Post GA, the MICS Data Dictionary reference content will be separated from the general usage content of the MICS documentation.
You can access the following two documentation sites, which will also link to each other for your convenience:
CA MICS Resource Management
CA MICS Data Dictionary
The benefits to you from this change to the MICS documentation are as follows:
Your search results are more refined and specific; only results from CA MICS Data Dictionary or CA MICS Resource Management are returned when you use the Search this product field. For example, if you want to find the LXPMASK data dictionary element, navigate to the
CA MICS Data Dictionary documentation
site first and search for 'LXPMASK' using the
"
Search this product"
field.
Your web page response or search time is improved, with a smoother navigation experience, due to this separation of info types into smaller sites.
If you are behind strict firewalls or with no Internet connection at your site, you can now download a PDF for offline use. The full site PDF for CA MICS Resource Management as well as custom PDFs are available for the following sections:
Release Notes, Getting Started, Planning, Installing, Operating, Maintaining, Using, Messages.
