my manager would like to have a report that will list all job failures for the year, job names and what they failed with, I didn't see any reports but thought someone had more experience with this could help

You can take a look at SASSHR13. The Abnormal Job Termination report prints a list of jobs that terminated abnormally. You can produce report data as far back as you are retaining CA 7 log data. Please take a look and let us know if this report will generate the data needed.
