CA COPYCAT - Need to move tapes off old media.  May want to move to Virtual from Physical.  Anyone have experience doing this on a large scale(ie, large number of tapes)?

    Users, Tape Librarians are moving this one tape at a time and it is time consuming and will not get it done fast enough.   I see CA Copycat has an UNSTACK command and think this may work, but have little experience working with Copycat.   Anyone have anysuggestions?

    We have been able to use COPYCAT to copy the files on stacked tapes to VTV successfully and much quicker than without COPYCAT.   Carolyn from CA Support recommended a parm BUFFER=MULTIPLE which increased performance a little also.
