    Hi,

     

    I am helping another site get started with OPS

    I am looking for:

    training materials

    a list of subjects to cover in training.

    What to implement first

     

    Can anyone help?

    Hi Tim,

     

    I’ve been using OPS at my site for a long time. At least 15 years. Probably more.

     

    This new site is in the process of converting from z/VM to z/OS, and they have chosen OPS as their automation product.

     

    I’ve been asked to provide training in OPS.

     

    So far, someone else has installed OPS, and I set it up, together with the customer, to perform a mostly automated IPL using OPS.

    The customer asked that we not implement SSM at this time.

    We have on-line courses available at http://search.ca.com/en-us/Pages/FindCourses.aspx.  Just search for OPS/MVS.

     

    Some are chargeable. Others have no charge.
