    Can anyone share their thoughts and experiences on how this worked?  Merits / Demerits?  I'm also looking for examples on how to do the initial setup.

    Hi bob,

     

    in general, i would like to say, yes. I say in general, because i don't know your current solution. The initial setup is simple. In RCX you define a strategy. The strategy contains all information about the table and relations what should be extracted. In the options, you can define, how the data will be extracted, for example with utilities or with a SQL engine. Also you define, if the data in the table will be deleted or not. If the data is deleted you are able to reload the data in case, if you need it.
