  • 1.  Getting RMP$A3Q ISPF panel and not RMP$A1Q panel

    One of my teammates changed something in his PROFILE and now when he does a QMIGRATE the he is getting the RMP$A3Q RC/M Quick Migration Analysis panel and not the RMP$A1Q panel. The RMP$A3Q panel does not include the OUTPUT DATASET SPECIFICATIONS section where you fill in the output data set. I assume some PROFILE option allows you to set a default output dataset which presents the different panel. Does someone know how to get back to the original way?

    Hi Chris,

     

    You can toggle between the two panels by typing an 'O' on the command line of the 'RC/M Quick Migration Analysis' panel.

     

    COMMAND ===> o

     

    'O' is an abbreviation of the OUTPUT line command which can also be used.

     

    Output       - Toggle the destination for analysis output

     

    Please let me know if this allows the user to revert back to RMP$A1Q panel.

    Hi Chris,

     

    To set the default behavior to control the destination of the Analysis output, this is done via the RC/Migrator Profile parameters

     

    On the RC/Migrator Main Menu

    0 - Profile

    Hit ENTER

    2 - RC/Migrator Profile Variables

     

    On the RC/M Global Operational Parameters panel

    UPDATE OUTPUT SPECIFICATIONS ===> y

    Hie ENTER

    ANALYSIS OUTPUT TO PDS ===> Y

     

    This sets the default to write the strategy analysis output to a PDS.
