    If using UID(0) in your environment is discouraged, you can add READ access for SUPERUSER.PROCESS.GETPSENT and SUPERUSER.PROCESS.KILL to the USS privileges of your external security system for the Netmaster SSI userid.
    A HOME directory must also defined for the NMSSI userid in the OMVS segment.

    The NMSSI must be cycled after the security changes are complete. This will allow syslogd to be activated at region startup.
