    You are planning to migrate on of the CA Dispatch database to a bigger size because a DSEXSTAT job run is showing a high percentage of utilization for a particular database or you got a message DC980072 V1 Error Status - 1211  which indicates an database file if full.


    First thing to do before you start the migration process is to research the reason for having such a situation.

    It might be the maintenance jobs that regularly remove no longer data are not running properly, or retention rules have changed or should be reviewed for some examples.

    If you have determined that there is no problem and the database has to be migrated to a larger size,  you will have to follow the migrations steps as detailed in the CA Dispatch System Programmers Guide, Chapter 6, item entitled 'Migrating the Report Distribution Database' .
