Yes. From a SYSVIEW session enter the SYSVIEW command:
CVARS
From the resulting display enter the SYSVIEW command:
select subgroup c tdata <==== (Select subgroup contains Tdata)
It will show you the monitoring variables for SYSTEM and TRANSACTION that can be entered as Thresholds
These include:
Transient data ENABLE status
Transient data OPEN status
Transient data queuing count
Transient data queue pct of triglvl
Transient data triglvl status
Transient data input bytes hwm
Transient data input bytes
Transient data input time hwm
Transient data input requests
Transient data input time
Transient data output bytes hwm
Transient data output bytes
Transient data output time hwm
Transient data output requests
Transient data output time
Transient data request time
Transient data GET requests
Transient data PURGE requests
Transient data PUT requests
Transient data TOTAL requests

Is it possible for Sysview/CICS to "listen" to a TransientDataQueue(TDQ) in CICS ?
TMON/CICS has this possibility and "interesting" messages are written to the Alert-log.
