Hi Martin
you could use SET IMSTGTDEF
IMSTGTDEF | Specifies the default IMS target control region when an |
IMS primary command is entered.

If the target address space has never been set to
an IMS control region within the session, the
IMSTGTDEF value will be used to determine the target
address space. Otherwise, the target address space will
be set to the last used IMS target address space.

* If the command is being executed in SYSTEM mode
or XSYSTEM mode, no auto switch will be performed.

* IMS function commands do not support auto-switch.

Valid values for the IMSTGTDEF option are:

<IMS Id> The IMS ID of the IMS control region
address space to auto-switch to.

FIRST Automatically switch to the first
AUTO active IMS control region on the
IMSLIST command.

LAST Automatically switch to the last
active IMS control region on the
IMSLIST command.

NOAUTO Do not perform an auto-switch.
NOSWITCH

Use the value NONE to set a value in your profile
that will indicate the keyword should have no value.
This prevents the keyword from reverting back to
the default value.

Use the value DEFAULT to delete the value in your
profile and revert back to the default value for
the keyword.

Subject: IMSLIST default IMS selection
Hi,
I have a question.
Sometimes when i go to the sysview. No IMS control region is selected. So i have to go into IMSLIST and select one of the above.
Do you know how to select IMS by default ( for example when i have only 1 ims control region on the system). It's annoying to go everytime into panel and select IMS from the IMSLIST
Thanks in advance
