We are happy to introduce Version 04.0.00 of CA Chorus for Security and Compliance Management.
This product integrates the security interfaces that let you set policies, view changes to security data, configuration, and security records. You can also investigate and report on security definitions, time-based performance data, and security and compliance events (such as object access and account administration).
The following details the Version 4.0 enhancements:
Change Password
Security administrators can reset a user password from the Investigator Launcher pane. This makes it possible to review password violations and reset a password from the same UI pane.
RACF Support
CA Chorus for Security and Compliance Management 4.0 provides support for IBM RACF. You now have the ability to collect RACF users, groups/roles, and permissions in the CIA database and view the data in the CA Chorus Investigator. This helps system programmers and security administrators understand the state of their security environment and identify what actions to take, saving time and cost in administrating security and meeting compliance objectives.
Unified Install Process
The unified install process unloads and configures the security discipline software prerequisites as a single set, simplifying and expediting the install process. The unified method supports CA Datacom/AD on a single system. If you wish to install on multiple systems or want to use DB2 as your database, you must use the manual method.
CA Chorus Bookshelves are Split for Version 4.0
Individual bookshelves are now available for CA Chorus and the CA Chorus discipline. Note that each discipline bookshelf includes a Release Notes and Administration Guide specific for that discipline. The Installation Guide and Message Reference Guides are included in the CA Chorus platform bookshelf and include platform and discipline topics.
