When simulating using the ISPF interface and the workstation, only Mainframe WOBS reflect correctly if the WOB is on request.

    ESP EE 12.0 RUNNING under z/OS 2.2

I have 3 WOBS in proc, one MF "PWKDCR00", one NT "WWKDCR00" and one Linxu "UWKDCR00" all on REQUEST. Simulation summary results only reflect the MF WOB as on request.

SIMULATION OF EVENT A079011.AWKDC99 AT 11.38.54 ON WEDNESDAY MAY 12TH, 2021
    JOBS: PWKDCR00, WWKDCR00, UWKDCR00
    3 JOBS SELECTED FOR SUBMISSION

    JOB TYPE-JOBNAME---HC-RELEASES
    REQUEST PWKDCR00 0 (NONE)
    NTJob WWKDCR00 0 (NONE)
    LinuxJob UWKDCR00 0 (NONE)

This can be very confusing, is the expected behavior or should any WOB type reflect the correct status?

    Hi Eric,

The reason is that there is only one field for JOB TYPE. And for agent wobs, it's used for the type of agent wob, like NTJob,

In other words, both agent wob type and REQUEST can't show in the one JOB type field/column. So it's a kind of limitation.

And if you would like to change it, please feel free to post an idea. Note: you may want to search and see if it's raised by others too.

    Thank you,

    Lucy
