  • 1.  Is ESP WSS Directory Slow to Load?

    Posted May 03, 2017 05:37 PM

I have been working with ESP Development on this issue a long time.  And I would rarely post this in public.  But I had tried out the new BUILD 106 and - yes is it faster to load the client.  I can leave my Custom Views and LMI open and it is very fast.

I plan to roll out Build 106 over the next few weeks.  And I usually do not do that.

So I will say, it is much better now.

So unless there are other issues, the one I have cared the most about, slow to load WSS.  seems to be resolved.

Hey Lizette,  I've been running build 105.  Can you share any other features 106 brings to the table?

    thanks

I can also confirm that the load time is significantly improved.

CA Workload Automation Workstation EE 11.3 Build 106

     Fixed in build 106
     Date: April 28, 2017

     1. The Workload Director Custom view processing
        overhead has been significantly reduced.

     2. Workload Director now supports locating a job
based on a long job name.

     3. Workload Editor recognizes symbolic variables
in the SUBAPPL and JOB statements.

     4. The workstation now supports the MSSQL job type.

     5. Workload Editor can download a procedure
        containing "APPL name DESCR(text)" without
        an error.

     6. Workload Editor can download a procedure
        containing "NOTWITH BILLSJOB-/**/"
        without an error.

     7. Workload Director can add and drop resources
        until the application is completed.

     8. "Job Details" window in Workload Editor works
        correctly without dropping ENDJOB.
