Occasionally we get enquiries about using ESP Workstation in Citrix environment. Here is our policy:

ESP Workstation will work with Citrix, but is not an officially supported configuration. For any issues reported, we will address them as best as possible with no guarantees.

And our user community is also a good place to get information from other users. For example, following is one of the old discussions on this topic:

Does this apply to running it as a published application for previsioned desktops?
Is it the same for persistent desktops?

    Hi Johnathan,

This policy applies to all versions of ESP workstation GUI on supported windows platforms. This is related to "CA ESP Workload Automation Workstation", which is used a GUI to CA WA ESP Edition.

    Hope this helps,

    Lucy

We are a fairly heavy Citrix "shop".  We used both provisioned apps (where someone running on a laptop where Windows is installed in the traditional way launches an application that runs from Citrix) and Virtual Desktops (where users log in from thin clients to what is essentially a virtual machine).

I realize that running CA WA Workstation GUI is not supported as a Provisioned application because of the way the profile is stored.  My question is, does CA support the usage of the CA Workload Automation Workstation GUi in a virtual desktop?
