How do you execute a RPF from JCL so I can schedule job?

We are still running ROSCOE.  We have an RPF that builds JCL based on dates and submits the job.  How can I execute this RPF using JCL so that I can submit the job using Scheduler rather than manually.  I've read the material here:

I've floundered around with different variations but I've not been successful...I'd really like to see a "real" example.
