Is anyone using CONSCAN in their Endevor Processes?  Can you share the knowledge on how it is helping you solve or address a valued business addition to you and the application development teams?

Relate run time input components to the element. Enforce standards, for example scanning JCL FTP steps for NETRC DD or for non-production library names. Validating data by, for example, comparing element user data or element comment against a list of valid values. Verify that a load module was created using CA GEN. Prevent developers from specifying particular COBOL compile options in their source code. CONSCAN is somewhat limited in its functionality. If the search could be defined using regular expressions then that would be better.
