Looking for any shop that has both Data Set Commander and Endevor v18.0.12. We have Data Set Commander(DSC) (IBM product) and its used ever with ISPF. Currently the version used is V8.1. Just installed V9.1 to address the following problem, however testing show problem still exist. We are testing Endevor V18.0.12 and both Endevor's batch edit panel and Quick Edit edit function panel, when they popup they have "!IQIUMAC" in the Command line. It was determined to be from DSC. For some reason DSC is populating that field BEFORE it is presented.
NOTE that it does happen in Endevor’s BATCH option when editing a SCL dataset. However, one can just remove the offending DSC command "!IQIUMAC" and proceed.
Under QE, removing the offending DSC command does nothing.
It being there stops the edit. Meaning even if you make changes AFTER removing it, and try to save the changes, it doesn’t take.
QE shows no change. When you PF3. Nothing happens. If you attempt an Edit again, same thing. If we turn off DSC, which can be done per person's session, the problem goes away.
So does anyone have DSC and Endevor V18.0.12? If so, did you run into this issue? If so, how did you get around it? If not, how was your DSC setup?
Footnote. A CA/Broadcom CASE ticket is open, it was support that determined "!IQIUMAC" was DSC. We also are in the process of opening a ticket with IBM about this. Since 9.1 version of DSC failed to address this issue.
