  • 1.  S80A ERROR ON PROGRAM COMPILE

    I am having an issue getting an S80A error trying to compile a program in Endevor.  We are currently on release16.0.  I have tried updating the region card to 0M,4M,6M, I have tried setting the parm on the step to 64000k.  Has anyone had this issue and was able to resolve the error.

    Is this a new element under Endevor ? Did anything change before the error first appeared ? The new versions of COBOL now have rather large region requirements.

    There are some suggestions in the document TEC565439 (https://support.ca.com/us/knowledge-base-articles.TEC565439.html)

    If you still can't resolve the problem, just open a case with support.

    Thanks for you response, we did finally get this issue resolved, the vendor had to make a change on their side to correct the problem.  There was no Endevor changes were needed to be made to compile the program after his change was made.
