Gen r8.6 on z/OS 2.1

​Is there anyone running the Gen application in the combination of "z/OS V2.1&CICS V5.3&Gen r8.0" or "z/OS V2.1&CICS V5.3&Gen r8.6"?

For Gen 8.0 and the combination "z/OS V2.1&CICS V5.3&Gen r8.0"
As you may know, Gen 8.0 ended support on August 31, 2016: CA Gen Release and Support Lifecycle Dates
Per these information solutions, Gen 8.0 was supported with z/OS 2.1 but it was never supported for CICS 5.3 i.e. CICS 5.1 was the highest version supported:

For Gen 8.6 and the combination "z/OS V2.1&CICS V5.3&Gen r8.6", the Mainframe GEN Compatibility Matrix shows that z/OS 2.1 is not supported and only z/OS 2.2 and above is supported: CA Gen Compatibility

Perhaps other users have experience with those combinations and can respond.
