I am attempting to create AME reports and I can't seem to nail down the allocation to use for an Output data set. Each combination I tried results in the data being offset in some way. When I use the SYSPRINT DD it works just fine and the report is perfectly formatted. I found that the SYSPRINT data set was allocated with RECFM=VBA and LRECL=133 and tried a data set with those attributes but it still wasn't right. I cannot find any place in the manuals that tells you how to allocate a data set for AME reports. Ideally I would like to set up a PDSE so that I could write each report to a member.
Has anyone run into this issue and what did you do to solve it?
