    Hello,

With CA-SPOOL, how can I force a vtam printer's separator page to have a different formdef and pagedef to that specified on the DESTID? Effectively I want the separator pages to have one pagedef, and the rest of the document another.

    Thanks, Albert

    Hello Albert,

Current GA releases of CA Spool does not provide you with a product parameter solution to specify a different formdef/pagedef combination for separator pages other than the ones set via a DESTID control statement for those print files being routed over VTAM defined printers. As an alternative consider review the sample code ESFSEPAX/0/2 user exits provided in the CBQ4SRC source library if you are running our GA release 11.7 or version 12.0 of CA Spool. Once you review these samples then let us know if you have more questions. If you do then we might need you to cut a new Customer Support issue to provide you with further guidance/clarification if needed.

Thanks for your Communities post and I hope this answer is addressing your question.

    Regards, Cesar
