    Hi there,

using XCOM EXECUTE mode transfer files with batch job on Z/os , is there any way to check the transfer progress during the job running time?

if transfer a very big file, the job maybe takes long time, operator want to check out how the transfer rate and how many percentage is done, and estimate how long a time maybe needed.  can XCOM job output show this kinds of information?

    thanks a lot.

No. TYPE=EXECUTE transfers run in the address space of the job that submits them, and the XCOM started task doesn't know about them.  For that reason they aren't added to the history file, and they cannot be "seen" with MODIFY commands issued to the started task. We always recommend that you run production transfers as TYPE=SCHEDULE.

There is a possibility, however of tracking the progress from the remote partner.
