    Hi Deneen,

Windows 2012 is only supported by CA Automation Point 11.5 which became Generally Available on December 8, 2014.

    That is what I thought.

Another question:  Can I upgrade from 11.1 to 11.5?  Do I need to upgrade to another version first?

    Hi Deneen,

Per software engineering, CA Automation Point does not support upgrading directly from AP 11.1 to AP 11.5.  AP 11.1 is a very old release, so the migration path requires multiple steps.

    • First, upgrade from 11.1 to 11.2
    • Then upgrade from 11.2 to 11.3
    • Finally, can then upgrade from 11.3 to 11.5.

Given these challenges, it might be easier for you to install AP 11.5 on a clean machine and configure it manually.  Also, make sure you look at the AP 11.5 installation guide to make sure the Windows OS you plan on using is still supported.

    Regards,

    Dave...
