On behalf of Broadcom, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services.  As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products.

As a valued OPS/MVS customer, you are licensed to use Alert Central and today we are pleased to announce that Alert Central 1.1 is now available.

Alert Central Version 1.1 introduces the following enhancements:
    • CAACSEND Sends Alerts From Any Mainframe Application
A High Value update to Alert Central Connector in PTF LU03584 is the CAACSEND utility which enables sending alerts from your Mainframe applications through many methods including:
      • TSO 'Ready' prompt as a command processor
      • TSO CLIST as a command
      • OPS/MVS Rules
      • OPS/MVS REXX
      • IBM REXX
      • Batch Job
    • Alert Log Details
This enhancement provides additional information regarding an alert. Alerts created through the OPS/MVS software systems have a log available in the Alert Central UI. To see how to enable and access a log for the alert, see View Alert Details.
    • System Auto-discovery
This enhancement allows Alert Central to create a system automatically when an instance of Alert Central Connector connects to Alert Central for the first time. The enhancement reduces the effort that is required to set up the configuration to allow alerts to arrive in Alert Central for the first time after installation. See Manage Systems.
    • Custom Columns
This enhancement allows name and value pairs of attributes to be displayed against both open and closed alerts. Administrative rights are required for the creation of the custom columns. To see how to create a custom column, see Manage Custom Columns.
    • Re-Open Alerts
This enhancement allows a re-opening of a previously closed alert. Only an Administrator can enable Re-Open Alert. To see how to enable Re-Open Alerts and how to re-open an alert, see Re-Open Alerts.
    • Quick Installation
Alert Central takes less than 10 minutes to install on Linux. Documentation for Mainframe component installation (ACC and APIML) has been simplified and expanded to cover more scenarios. See Installing.
    • Continued Security, Performance and Usability Enhancements
Updated product libraries to maintain security posture. Reduced browser resource consumption to improve performance. Layout optimized based on user feedback.
