The Datacom group is pleased to announce the general availability of Datacom/AD 15.1 Service Update S2401. It contains maintenance at the CA RS 2401 level (published through 12/31/2023) plus Core Products 15.1 Level Set 03 plus an important HIPER solution and its pre-requisites.
The Service Update also delivers Datacom Server release 15.1 by default for Datacom/AD. We encourage all Datacom/AD users to use this Service Update PAX to move to the current GA release of Datacom Server in their current Datacom/AD 15.1 environments. Make your plans to upgrade now to ensure you are ready well ahead of the previously announced End of Service date of May 31, 2025 for Datacom Server 15.0.
The Service Update PAXes (both ESD and Portable Software Instances or PSWI) can be used:
- to install a new Datacom/AD 15.1 instance,
- to upgrade of Datacom Server to 15.1 in a Datacom/AD 15.1 environment,
- to upgrade from prior (unsupported) Datacom/AD releases to AD 15.1, and
- as a way to "catch up" on applying accumulated maintenance if you are not regularly applying CA RS maintenance as recommended.
