Tuesday Tip: Missing the CA Deliver Description Information in OM Web Viewer 12.n?

Problem:

In the report list the description is blank- it has no values.

Web Viewer users may see this message

CAHHAGOP04 Unable to qualify selection of reports due to missing CA-Deliver interface (RMOGAM)

 

Resolution:

 

Set up on the mainframe side:

 

 

• You must point to the correct Deliver library in the SARINIT parms
• The description must be in the Deliver definitions. 

  • Verifying that your descriptions are set up correctly in CA View

    •    Hit enter on the main panel
    •   On the primary select screen, verify the database name at the top and enter MODE EXP on the command line and hit enter
    •   Verify your distribution ID at the top and fill in

  •      Report id *     Select by  R     Previous copy no.  all

  •   Hit enter and use PF11 to see if the descriptions are showing
• Include the CA Deliver load library in the STEPLIB of the CA DRAS job
• Recycle CA DRAS.
