IDEAL WEB Interface - EBCDIC to ASCII

Hi all!

If I'm sending HTML code generated in IDEAL to the client, the exclamation
point (!) is translated to a vertical bar (|).

Can anybody point me to the right spot (i. e. a translation table that I
could modify), so that this translation (and may be others that I haven't
stumbled on yet) is handled properly?
