    Here's something I've not run into before. We had a programmer do an EXTRACT=

    =66rom a production table and I was surprised to see the sequential extract =
    record length did not match the Table's LENGTH attribute (in DD). I noticed =
    it did, however, match the value of MAX-RECORD-SIZE (which was filled in for =
    this table, unlike most others). I also noticed the CXX Report showed a =
    RECORD LENGTH which matched the MAX-RECORD-SIZE (and not the actual length). =

    Is this normal or are we out of synch somehow=3F I had previously thought th=
    e=
    MAX-RECORD-SIZE (if filled in) didn't really affect anything. btw The =
    Extract filled out the "extra portion" of the record with spaces. =20
