    Jon,

    Yes. Here's a way to cheat the system. Make a DD version of the same table
    (say V200). Expand the packed fields to zoned (leave same name) and then
    use the DD reformat pgm supplied by CA. You would extract the table and
    run the reformatter and ctl stmt would input PROD status and output V200.
    Data is then the way you want it....

    is there a way to use DBUTLTY to unpack those numbers?
