Hello CA Mainfraime Security community!
I’d like to gain a comprehesive view of Top Secret DB2 option, its usage and potential for improvement
Because a formal type "poll" is not available here in CA Mainframe Security and to keep it simple I’d like to pose four questions and to ask you for feedback
Question1:
Do you use CA Top Secret ?
Question 2:
Do you use IBM’s DB2 ?
Question 3:
Do you use CA Top Secret DB2 Option ?
Question 4:
Would you earn advantages, if idea Enhance Top Secret for DB2 security administration would be implemented?
In short: this idea suggests an option to prepend the db2-group-id to the front of the resourcename (in preference of indicating the DB2-group-id by the FACILITY-keyword) to provide a global scope on the DB2-resources. Please see all details in the idea-document.

then I’d really like to get to know your considerations.

then I’d like to hear the reasons, why you don’t yet use TSS Option for DB2.
