I just found this in my system logs:

    TSS7054I SECURITY BYPASS ACTIVE FOR JOB=INIT     ACID=+INIT
    TSS7100I J=INIT      A=+INIT     T=          F=STC
    TSS7054I SECURITY BYPASS ACTIVE FOR JOB=INIT     ACID=+INIT
    TSS7100I J=INIT      A=+INIT     T=          F=STC

I don't see INIT defined as one of my STCs, and of course there's no ACID called "+INIT".  What does this mean, or rather where should I look to track down the source?

    Bob,

Acids with a '+' at the front are usually a symptom of an address space that is started prior to CA Top Secret has completed initialization.  In that case the acid assigned will be a bypass acid with '+' followed by the jobname.  It is best to get Top Secret started prior to all these other address spaces so this situation does not occur.  That means starting Top Secret with SUB=MSTR prior to starting any other address space including JES.

You should also have acids defined for these address spaces in the STC table.  This will allow us to pick up the proper security environment.
