On support connect there is a TSS problem and solution that speaks to an SA00 should be an S913. It mentions minor code of 2 as well.

The description speaks of FETCH protection being validated with an empty link stack an ESTAE abends with an SA00 because there is no link stack.

Not much to is, but you can check out QO54658.

Is it possible you have a security issue with one of the loadlibs in your STEPLIB?

What about REFPROT, is it YES or NO?

    Just some thoughts.
I'm hoping to bring up a release 18 system on 1.13 on Monday or Tuesday this coming week.

    All:

Many thanks to Chuck Hardee for pinpointing our issue, basically we upgraded to z/OS 1.13 over the weekend and with this the SYSPROG also put in a new CAILIB but what he forgot to do was to give everybody read only access to the new CAILIB, so as Chuck pointed out the S-A00 masked what was really a S-913 Security Violation by the IDMS CV attempting to open the CAILIB data set.

On my Test sandbox, IDMS comes up with no issues. But I did recompile IDMS Macro Assembler modules. Especially the SVC must be recompiled (via SMPE or manual) depening on how you are set up.
