As I approach the end of my tenure at Reed Elsevier Technology Services
(a.k.a. LEXIS NEXIS), I can't help but think ""what a long, strange trip
it's been"". 25 years at RETS and 32 doing IDMS database and systems
administration.

I'd like to thank all on this list who have contributed their knowledge
and wisdom over the years making life a bit easier for many of us.

As I embark on retirement in ""the third half of my life"", I will still
try to keep in touch via IDMSVENDOR-L (it's kinda hard to totally let go
:-)).

"Good luck Hal: I'd retire as well but I'm having so much fun with Sarbanes Oxley, who could leave with all that going on. Live used to be so much easier. Remember when we could make online changes without paperwork. But I digress
