Question:
Turned on DB security for one database (internal) and created a Resource Category containing the RUNUNIT resource and granted to relevant user so why do I still get DB347012 security violation?
Answer:
A RESOURCE CATEGORY is a SYSTEM resource and must be defined in the SYSTEM dictionary/catalog.
The security system will only look in SYSTEM dictionary for CATEGORY definitions and privileges.
In this case it was defined in an application dictionary so was not found at runtime.
