    On behalf of the Technical Information team, we are pleased to announce that the new End-to-End (e2e) bookshelf for CA Mainframe Application Tuner Version 9 is available here:

    CA has a new initiative called Xinfo, short for Extensible Information, which changes the way we architect, develop, and deliver technical information. Our focus is to deliver the most relevant and succinct information to you.

    The Xinfo initiative has the following major focus areas:
    • Managing end-to-end information.
    • Moving to a scenario-based content model.
    • Ensuring that the CA Technologies delivery platform enables improved search results and social collaboration.

    Xinfo features in the CA MAT bookshelf include:
    Scenarios
    • Scenarios are concise, easy-to-find chunks of information presented in the context of how a specific customer role interacts with a product to achieve a specific goal. The following scenarios are included as part of the e2e bookshelf in HTML format:
    o Customize and Verify CA Mainframe Application Tuner
    o How to Install and Apply Updates to the CA MAT Graphical User Interface
    o How to Install and Configure Java Virtual Machine (JVM) Support

    End-to-End
    • New with this release and available on the bookshelf are links to the Release Notes, scenarios, product documentation in both PDF and HTML format, knowledge base articles, social media, educational courses, and videos.

    Delivery Methods
    • Technical information is delivered with an end-to-end bookshelf available on MyCA and CA Support Online.
