    What is the difference?

In CA Gen 8.5, TCP/IP direct and WebSphere MQ (non-TDC) may use greater than 32K flows.

1The following extended features will be delivered as PTFs following the GA release
    –16 megabyte CFB support for:
    WebSphere MQ TDC on CICS

    Hi Darce,
Per the Release Notes section "Features › Remove 32 KB CFB Limit" there are still 32KB CFB limitations with 8.5 GA for some Gen Components

The TDC is the MQ Transaction Dispatcher for CICS and is one of 2 options for running Gen CICS Distributed Processing Servers over MQ.

    Hope this helps.
