Hello Team,
we are planning to split our MIMPlex environment ... currently we have 3 different systems in a MIMPlex sharing DASD/ TAPE. but as the different lpars are different customers and we decided to create separate MIMplex for each Lpar . Also please note , systems are part of sysplex group also . we are not going to remove the system from syspelx . its just we are creating separate mimplex for the individual Lpars .
I know I can open a case with CA and get the question answered but I wanted to hear the community take on this . May be someone from us has been to this road before and want to share their experiences and best practices they might have followed . .
My current setup
MIM ( R12 ) is running on zOS 1.13
MII, MIA is running in all LPARS as separate address spaces .
Sharing the same control files but individual checkpoint files .
