CA Linux connector : VMevents for LGR Live Guest Relocation

        Hello,

I've been working on z/VM and playing with CA Linux connector. Unfortunately some VMEVENTS (seen in the documentation ) are not trapped :

    (from 9 to 14) .

It would be nice that CA Linux connector can now deal with new functions available with z/VM 6.3 and SSI / LGR improvements.

    Class Type  Data     Event

    0 0  user ID     LOGON

    0  1  user ID     LOGOFF

0  2  user ID, reason    Failure condition detected

0  3  user ID, interval    LOGOFF timeout started

0  4  user ID     Forced SLEEP started

0  5  user ID     Runnable state entered

0  6  user ID     Free storage limit exceeded

0  9  user ID, destination system  Virtual machine outbound relocation started

0  10  user ID, source system   Virtual machine inbound relocation started

0  11  user ID, destination system Virtual machine outbound relocation complete

0  12  user ID, source system   Virtual machine inbound relocation complete

0  13  user ID, reason code   Virtual machine outbound relocation terminated

0  14  user ID, reason code   Virtual machine inbound relocation terminated

0  15  user ID     Timebomb explode

Maybe other users would require these new features to be implemented in CA Linux Connector.

    Regards

    Regis

    All,

I've created an IDEA for the suggestion.

Linux Connector - SSI enable the linux agent on VM -

You now can vote on it.

    Thanks,
