Recently a customer opened a case to inquire if CA Automation Point r11.5 was capable of monitoring a Stand Alone Dump (SAD). The answer is yes, AP sessions can monitor a SAD, and it can respond to the SAD manually like any other TN3270 console. However, our console drivers can't understand SAD output, so we cannot natively automate any consoles monitoring a SAD. However, you can write your own REXX programs for this automation, or you can engage CA Services to write this REXX for you.
