On behalf of the Code4z team, we proudly announce COBOL Language Support, v1.0.0 is now available on VSCode Marketplace and open-vsx.org.
COBOL Language Support (COBOL LS) enhances the COBOL programming experience on your IDE, by providing autocomplete, syntax highlighting and coloring, and diagnostic features for COBOL code and copybooks. In integration with Zowe Explorer plugin it can automatically retrieve copybooks used in your programs from mainframe for better code analysis.
Please check some of the most important enhancements from this latest version:
- Download copybooks using Zowe Explorer API (this also brings support for SCS plugin and zFTP)
- Support USS file download for copybooks
- Setting to define encoding for USS files
- Add line commenting ability
- Snippets for IDMS
