In part 3, I demonstrate how to integrate a previously configured system into an Altiris 7.x environment (don't worry - in the final section I also show how to integration into an Altiris NS 6.x environment)

Configuring Intel AMT prior to integration into the Symantec Management Platform (i.e. Altiris) does present some limitations to a natively configured environment (Natively refers to using Intel SCS 5.x within the OOB Site Service).
You cannot use Randomized or Master Digest Intel AMT passwords, since the Symantec Management Platform is unable to lookup or calculate the password. This is due to a change of interface for Intel SCS with version 8 (vs. version 5). Symantec is aware of this change and is working to update.
