  • 1.  TIBファイルの仮想イメージへの変換について

    VMware vCenter Converter6.2.0をインストールし、TIBファイルを仮想イメージへ変換しようとしました。

    「Backup image or third-party virtual machine」メニューが選択できなくなっており、実施できません。

    TIBファイルの変換方法を教えてください。

    3rd partyのバックアップソフトのイメージからのVM変換は Converter 6.0.x が最終となり、6.1.x以降は機能が削除されました。

    6.0.x をダウンロードして変換が可能か試す必要がありますが、互換性のなどの確認も必要となります。

    あとでこのページを確認されたかた向けの補足ですが・・・

    この投稿での .tib ファイルは、Acronis 社（VMwareの3rd partyベンダ）の

    バックアップソフトで作成されるバックアップイメージファイルを指すと考えられます。
