A customer has raised the question about automatically turning off a higher poll frequency setting. The senario is that part of the network is experiencing issues, 10 devices are of interest. A monitoring profile is created to poll them at 1 minute frequency in addition to the 5 minute monitoring profile. The ops team wants to be able to set a time limit for the 1 minute polling profile, say 60 minutes, so that they don't need to worry about someone needing to return to the console and disable the 1 minute profile.
Do the Duration and/or Window values of a Monitoring Profile Event Rule facilitate this? Or are those values only related to creating event threshold triggers?
If the the Duration and/or Windows values do not facilitate creating a time limit for a monitoring profile, is there another means of doing so?
