Currently, we cannot configure Event Rules with specific Notification directly as we did in eHealth (sorry, one more "IM vs eH"...).
So, when 5 users should be notified on (same or different) items of one group/collection all 5 users will receive all alarms!
The only possibility I figured out until know was, to restrict which events ( rules ) a user will see by creating multiple Collections ( one device can exist in may Collections ), create multiple Monitoring profiles with the rules relevant to the particular user, apply the Monitoring profile to the collection and use the collection as a group filter in the Alarm Notificationst.
But this is not useful for our customer now as it can be done for 2 users, but customer has many internal customers.
Are there any enhancements planned for next IM Releases (of course we posted an idea many weeks ago)?
Some further enhancements for Alarm Notification / Event Dashboard:
o Alarm Clearing feature
o Filtering on Severity like "Critical" in Event Dashboard View
o Scriptbased Alarmforwarding
