CA Performance Management - Configure Threshold Profiles Documentation

Mar 05, 2015 11:06 AM

Hello All,

Many may know that we released new Event Threshold Profile configuration functionality with the IM 2.4.1 release.

You may also know that it was not working properly when release. But it is now working with the fixes present in the now available as GA 2.4.1 March Update Kit.

How do you configure this new functionality? This will be fully documented with the 2.5 release user guides, but right now it is not documented in the 2.4.x user guides.

Until the 2.5 release goes GA with its updated user guides, the configuration steps for this new feature can be found here:

https://wiki.ca.com/display/CAPM250/Configure+Threshold+Profiles

Alternatively a PDF form of the same URL is attached to this posting for download and review.

If running the GA 2.4.0 or 2.4.1 releases, please ensure the system is upgraded to the 2.4.1 March Update Kit before trying to use this functionality.

Thank you,

Michael

I can also get to the link (am CA) , which is public facing - nothing obvious why this would not be available

Mike uploaded the doc to the article for reference as well.

Mike - pls can you raise an internal issue to investigate the wiki page exposure/permissions.

Thx

Pete

I was prompted to log in. I logged in with my personal account (not

necessarily product entitled) and my enterprise account (should be fully

entitled).

Thats odd... it is a public facing link (as far as I've been told and can see) but it does require log in to the support site to view it.

Maybe try logging in and then try accessing the link?

Maybe a cache clearing issue in the browser?
