Subject: Removal of CA Business Intelligence 3.3 (SAP BusinessObjects)
CA Technologies is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. CA Configuration Automation 12.8 SP2 currently provides reporting through CA Business Intelligence (CABI), which is built on the underlying SAP BusinessObjects product. After careful evaluation of what is in the best interest our customers and CA Technologies, CA Business Intelligence will be replacing SAP BusinessObjects with TIBCO JasperSoft within upcoming future releases. TIBCO JasperSoft is a market leader in providing powerful reporting and advanced analytics.
In preparation for this transition, CABI ISO images will be removed from the CA Configuration Automation 12.8 SP02 packaging currently available for download through support.ca.com by March 31st 2016. Existing customers, however, using CABI 3.3 within the currently supported CA Configuration Automation 12.8 SP02 release may continue to use CABI 3.3 beyond this date and until end of service for CA Configuration Automation 12.8 SP02 occurs. In consideration of any potential need to access CABI 3.3 media beyond March 31st 2016, you are encouraged to download and archive the CABI 3.3 ISO image before this date.
