This issue generally occur when you are using AA and get some troubles using pdm_server_control -v (suppress version between servers).
PROBLEM:
<> Indicates that you have a different schema between files and DB, and probably you cant use that field. (If you tryed to create a field with DB replication, you got the READPAST error in PDM_PUBLISH)
HOW TO FIX:
Compare that files between servers and make a dummy modification in WSP. (in my case, i created another field).
