This zipfile contains a Release Automation application, which permits the upgrade of the Release Automation agents running in Windows 2008 or Windows 2012 servers.
A release note PDF file is included explaining the different processes that make this application and how to setup the necessary parameters to perform the upgrade of the Release Automation agent based off a server type, in this case that server type is "Windows".
Hi Michael,
Yes, this process works and the agent upgrades itself. You should only use this process if you having a lot of problems with the RA agent upgrades via the RA Studio (heavy client) in Windows systems.
Thanks

Hey,
so, this process runs on an agent and this agent upgrades itself?
didn't thought that this is recommended, I even try to avoid doing a restart during a process run on an agent.
interesting.
best regards
